Journalist. Broadcaster. Producer.

Ben attended Bourne Grammar School in Lincolnshire before reading Philosophy at Trinity College, Cambridge.

In his first term at Cambridge, somebody with more kindness than sense saw fit to stick him behind the microphone at student radio station CUR1350, and he hasn't looked back.

On air, Ben has presented a wide range of styles, from weekday Breakfast Show to anchoring coverage of the 2010 General Election, from sports commentary to comedy panel shows. In November 2012, Ben stayed awake for 76 hours to present an unofficial world record marathon broadcast for charity.

Off-air, Ben helped turn CUR1350 into Cam FM, managed the station in 2012-13, produced an international outside broadcast from the Varsity Ski Trip in Val Thorens, France, successfully bid to broadcast to half a million listeners on International College Radio Day and has gained extensive experience in audio editing, production, and broadcast journalism.

He has since worked for BBC Radio 4 on shows like Thinking Allowed, The Philosophers' Arms and the News Review of the Year, as well as for BBC Radio 5live. His work has been recognised by the Student Radio Awards and the New York Festivals Radio Awards.

Ben is also a keen writer - a regular contributor to musicOMH.com, and his articles have been published on the Huffington Post, The Cambridge Student and The Tab.

Beyond the media, Ben enjoys music, standup comedy and travelling.
